DVD: Vintage 70’s & 80’s – Tape VA70-9

This tape is a fantastic collection of vintage professional women’s wrestling matches. The showcase clip is a 24 minute, 10 girl tag team match that features some of the best and biggest names in wrestling form the 70s through the 90s: Judy Martin, LeLani Kai, Dawn Marie, Velvet McIntyre, and Rockin Robin to name a few. Perhaps the most amazing and legendary of all is The Fabulous Moolah.
Moolah also appears on this tape in several other matches, some of which are under the name The Spider Lady, a handle she used for many years with the WWF. This actually made Moohlah an even more controversial figure in wrestling than she had been before (with certain other gimmicks such as her “Slave Girl Moolah” persona), because many fans felt she was selling out. Nevertheless, she was instrumental in bringing wrestling to a much higher profile nationally, and went on to wrestle with the WWF and WWE into her 80s! She continues to have exciting and dramatic feuds with stars of today, and here you can see her facing off against some of her most hated opponents of all time. If you haven’t seen the Fabulous Moohlah, you haven’t seen one of the all-time greats in women’s professional wrestling!
